“Carolina Gomez Naranjo received her Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia. After that she joined the double degree program between Politecnico di Torino and Alta Scuola Politecnica in Italy where she obtained the Masters of Science (Cum Laude) In Ecodesign and Product Service System Design. Since October of 2013 she has joined the Industrial Design department at the Eindhoven University of Technology as a Trainee in the PDEng. User System Interaction. From January 5, 2015 she is in charge of the User Experience Design and the Business Plan Modeling of the GameBus Project inside the Industrial Engineering department.
Carolina has a broad experience conceptualizing digital products and services that aim to a more sustainable and integrated society. Her main interest rely on how technology can create solutions for social innovation, healthcare and sustanability. Her areas of work include Design Research, Product/Service Design focused on User Experience, Interface Design, Interaction Design & Information Visualization. She has developed projects by the hand of Philips Lighting, TNO-Océ, VCNL (Traffic Centre of the Netherlands), Rabobank, Bullfrog Avenue, among others.”
