Moreover, people involved in these processes tend to have an ideal scenario in mind, which in reality is only one of the many scenarios possible. In the talk, we elaborate on the applicability of process mining in the healthcare domain and challenges that exist for the future. To this end, we use a real case of a gynecological oncology process in a Dutch hospital. Using a variety of process mining techniques, the healthcare process has been discussed from three different perspectives:
- the control-flow perspective,
- the organizational perspective, and
- the performance perspective.
